Description
1940s Paavo Tynell Model #2016A glass & metal wall or ceiling lamp for Taito Oy. Executed in white opaline glass and metal. Manufactured by Taito Oy, Finland in the late 1940s, this is a fine unsigned example of a Tynell's iconic refinement.
Price is per item. Two lamps available. Similar lamps in different sizes sold in separate listings.
Literature: Taito Oy manufacturer's catalogue, unpaginated.
Rewired for US electrical. Accommodates 2x 75w equivalent medium base bulbs (lower with incandescent). Some patination, scuffs and dings as largely shown in the photos and noted only for accuracy. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Only one representative example of the lamps is featured in the photos. Patina and mounting screws vary some from lamp to lamp. Additional photos available upon request. -
