Description
I love this lamp! It's got gorgeous pink and white mottled and striated flowers along a large mid-belt. The background glass is what you'd want, mainly that it shades from dark green at the top to light green at the bottom. A shaded background is one of the many desirable characteristics of authentic Tiffany lamps. (Secondary makers had difficulty making shaded glass.) It's in fabulous original condition, with a rich green-brown patina on the leadwork. There are ZERO hairline cracks in the shade and no restoration. The diameter is 20". It's properly signed TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1491 on the inside lower rim.
The Roman base is a big, impressive, fluted column on a circular foot. It's signed and numbered underneath TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 529. The original patina is a rich green-brown. The kicker is that it has 6 sockets, for great lighting. That's really cool. They're all original Bryants. It measures 31½" tall. Plus the cap is original and authentic.
This lamp is professionally rewired and ready to beautify your home! -
