This unusual Hanging Lantern was likely a custom commission for a specific interior, and is likely the only example of the design.

The four-sided Lantern incorporates a unique configuration of metalwork, leaded mottled and streaky yellow Tiffany Glass, and iridescent Turtle Back Tiffany Glass Tiles in warm amber tones.

The hinged panel on the bottom of the lantern is also formed by a flat panel of leaded glass with a diamond Turtle Back Tile at the center; this panel hinges open to allow access to the interior hardware.
