Description
1950s Glass and Brass Table Lamp in the Manner of Paavo Tynell for Valinte Oy
Executed in an opaline glass shade with a curved brass arm and biomorphic base, this petite table lamp is ideal for nightstands, cozy corners, or other areas needing a warm accent light. Shade is adjustable up and down. On/off switch on base. The lamp's brass elements have a rich patina that will continue to develop over time. Valinte Oy stamp on bottom of base. Each lamp has a slightly different screw for adjusting the shade tilt (please see photos).
Price is per item. Two lamps available. Local pickup in Los Angeles available.
Professionally rewired for US electrical with new sockets and custom period-style wall plug and 8 ft. of double-twist black cloth cord. Each lamp accommodates a single max 40W medium base E26 bulb. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee.
Wear consistent with age and use. Please note that only one lamp is photographed, but both lamps are in similar condition and present well as a pair. Please contact us for additional images or video. -
