Rare Mid Century Eight-Armed Chandelier by Vereinigte Werkstätten Germany 1950s

Extremely rare, elegant and highly decorative Mid-Century Modern eight-armed brass chandelier or pendant lamp. Designed and manufactured by Vereinigte Werkstätten München, Germany, 1950s.

Executed in partly brass, aluminum and fabric (probably silk), the chandelier comes with 8 x E14 / E12 Edison screw fit bulb sockets. It is wired, in working condition and runs both on 110/230 Volt. Delivery without bulbs.

The chandelier is checked, cleaned and suitable for use in the USA.

Height: 11.42 in. (29 cm)

Diameter of the body (without lamp shades): 23.63 in. (65 cm)

Hanging height with the current rod: 19.69 or 34.65 in. (50 or 88 cm)
The current rod consists of two parts. If you need a shorter height, you can remove the upper piece.

Diameter canopy: 3.55 in. (9 cm)

Net weight ca. 5 KG

Condition:
Good original vintage condition. Wear consistent with use and age. Brass with typical patina. Wear / stains on the lamp shades. It is up to the buyer whether he/she lets them reupholster. For its condition, please see all images uploaded in the listing.
