Large scale table lamp in a clean and rationalized Art Deco/Modernist style by Vicke Lindstrand (1904-1983) for Upsala-Ekeby AB, having a tapered vase form with rounded shoulders and very handsome carved vertical flutes, hand-crafted / carved stoneware glazed in a pale oyster tone, revealing just the right amount of the underlying clay to articulate the edges of the flutes; Sweden, 1930; impressed markings to the underside
