Description
Bronze light sculpture with an opalescent porcelain diffuser. By William Guillon, French designer influenced by powerful artistic universes imbued with a sweet melancholy.
Each piece is finished and patinated by the artist and signed.
Like an artefact from the past weathered by time, Nova is a piece that seems to have crossed the ages. Its delicate matte white dome contrasts with the textured cast bronze plinth. Like sleeping stars, in the dark, it reveals all its power. Porcelain shines with an incandescent light revealing the delicate mineral texture of porcelain.
William Guillon is a French designer based in Bordeaux, specializing in unique lighting and objects. Her obsession with unconventional beauty translates into radical and organic creations. Its aesthetic is rooted in an innovative exploration of traditional craftsmanship combined with a sense of timeless elegance. Each piece imagined by William Guillon is handmade in France and most of them are numbered in limited editions. Since the creation of his workshop in 2014, he has been appreciated for several collections of functional sculptures and accessories and has also worked on several bespoke projects.
William Guillon is now represented in numerous galleries in Paris, Shanghai, Singapore, Los Angeles and New York. -
