A HIGHLY IMPORTANT TWELVE LIGHT ENGLISH CUT GLASS GEORGE III CHANDELIER BY WILLIAM PARKER

The slender baluster shaft centred by a two piece pineapple urn surmounted by a van-dyke drop-hung canopy, cascading to the lower spires. The chandelier terminates with a raised-diamond and gadroon-cut pineapple. The double-ogee container issuing twelve upper kick-arms with van-dyke canopies and triangular spires; these alternated with a further twelve notched-cut candle arms, supporting van-dyke drip pans and candle nozzles. The lower stem with draped canopy and lapidary-cut final, the chandelier profusely draped with half back pear-shaped drops and round finials.
