Description
Peerless rustic wooden wall mirror from Austria, dated to 1901. A very special designed wall mirror with a golden bar on the inside and slightly protruding corners. Artfully handcarved out of basswood, this unique frame impresses with its extraordinary, elaborately shaped wave forms and additionally delicate golden paintings which reinforce the unusal shapes. In the top center you can find an inscription saying "MIMSE" (unfortunately we do not know the meaning) and on the bottom bar the date "19AI01". A truly unique early 20th century rustiv wall mirror, coming in great restored condition.
