19th Century Biedermeier Chest of Drawers, Cherrywood, Austria, circa 1825

Offered by: Masterpiece Antiques

Description
Fantastic 19th century Biedermeier chest of drawers made in the early 19th century in Austria around 1825. This beautiful straight shaped Biedermeier commode shows a precious cherrywood veneered surface and offers three big drawers adorned by artfully crafted brass fittings. Due its not mirrored grain (which is very uncommon), this unusal antique chest of drawers exudes that slightly rustic charm. The commode holds the still original locks which are fully functional. An unusal early 19th century Biedermeier chest of drawers in good old restored condition.
!!! ATTENTION - PLEASE NOTE: the top cabinet has already been sold - actually the chest of drawers ONLY is now available!
