Ornate 19th‑century Italian Chinoiserie wall mirror blending the exuberance of English Rococo (often called the Chinese Chippendale style) with the dramatic flair of the Italian Baroque. Its defining feature is the pagoda‑top pediment, a hallmark of European Chinoiserie, set above an intricately carved framework of C‑scrolls, pierced asymmetry, and foliate motifs. Crafted in wood and gesso and finished in an unusual polychrome green with gilt accents, the piece stands out as a rare and highly decorative example of cross‑cultural design influence in the decorative arts. This piece measures 53"t x 32"w x 3"d.
