This stunning Art Deco octagonal Venetian mirror was realized in France circa 1935. The piece is composed of eight straight sides that intersect at angles forming the perimeter in raised smoked and antiqued mirror. The frame is composed of three different layered segments in this mirror reverse etched with neoclassical motifs including recurring floral patterns and geometric detailing, as well as chain beveling. The segments are banded together with translucent glass florets. With its beautiful attention to detail and exquisite craftsmanship, this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of first rate Art Deco design, as well as those with a penchant for all things exquisite.
