Description
An unusual cartouche shaped, carved and gilded, English looking glass circa 1760 crested with a floral spray in vase, held by a shell resting on a floral spray flanked by s-scrolls, the frame comprising a series of c-scrolls and s-scrolls with carved foliage and two superb ho-ho birds holding a floral swag. Dry stripped to original gilding with period mercury plate glass.
