Description
Decadent and romantic, this Louis XV mirror is brought to life by luscious, rounded floral carvings strung with ribbons that project out of the gold-gilt frame. Two mirror plates reveal some foxing, oxidation that matches the darkened recesses of the intricate carvings. Red bole enhances a fine crackle texture of the gilding. View the detailed images.
