French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Giltwood Oval Mirror

$ 4,200
  • Description
    Dimensions: 42 ½” H x 32 ½” W x 1 ¾” D

    A lavish and intricately detailed Louis XVI-style wall mirror from 19th-century France. Tiny molded olive leaves line the surface of the oval frame and are further enhanced by a gilded finish. A border of gilded beads surrounds the original glass plate, which has a beveled edge. The reflection is clear, and there are only minor spots of foxing across the glass. With its classic design and ample size, this mirror would make an excellent addition to any wall or above any mantle. Gently cleaned and ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age and use. Please view the detailed image gallery for the current condition or reach out with any questions.
