Description
Dimensions: 37 ⅜” H x 37” W x 17 ⅛” D
This 19th-century English vanity table is painted with a unique faux bois finish to imitate different kinds of maple. The top is painted with striking golden-orange and black splotches in an irregular pattern to create the look of burled maple. The backsplash and shelf are painted with more regular woodgrain and also feature black curlicue and pinstripe detailing. These pinstripes appear along the vanity’s apron and its turned legs. The base of the vanity and its lower shelf are painted to look like birdseye maple, and the pinstriping on the shelf follows the silhouette of its carved edge. All throughout the piece, the painted finish is well worn, allowing the pine construction to come through. This charming table would be perfect for use as a makeup vanity or even as a small accent table. Gently cleaned and tightened, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Please view the detailed image gallery for the current condition or reach out with any questions. -
