A stunning French 'trompe l'oeil' trumeau mirror. A work of superb craftsmanship from the early to middle of the 20th century, moulded construction of gesso on a timber frame, hand painted with finished gold detailing.
The mirror has an architectural style echoing early renaissance Florentine frames. -
