Georgian Round Giltwood Mirror
-
Description
Very fine carved and Giltwood George III mirror in the manner of John Linnell, comprising two oak branches bound with ribbon forming a wreath, adorned with acorns and finely detailed rustication. Round Georgian mirrors are very scarce and this design, while usually found in an oval shape, lends itself well to a circular form.
