This stunning Mid Century Modern shadowbox mirror was realized in the United States circa 1950. It features a rectangular form with a gilded perimeter in 24kt yellow gold, as well as a gilded interior edge that bookend a beautifully marbled mirror border with an abundance of organic sinuously curved abstract gold veining, lending the piece a sense of subtle dynamism. With its austere silhouette, clean modernist lines and beautiful attention to detail, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary, The mirror can be oriented either horizontally or vertically. It is in excellent vintage condition.
