Midcentury Italian shaped brass mirror with central elegant top, sides, and bottom decorative brass elements with slightly rounded corners on top and bottom, in the style of Gio Ponti. This iconic and lyrical scroll top decoration is a fine example of the midcentury Novecento design element, which was both classical yet modernist, and was used by Gio Ponti and other designers of this era for furniture, mirrors, and other decorative arts pieces.
