Tramp Art Rustic Wall Mirror Hand Carved, Austria, circa 1870
-
Description
Out of the ordinary Tramp Art Mirror from the late 19th century in Austria. Elaborately hand carved out of basswood around 1870 this rustic mirror comes with a dark brown stained surface in great original condition. The highlight of this rural wall mirror is definitely the doubled frame with unique carved bars on the outside. The main frame impresses with fantastic chip carvings building a so-called "pyramid" design and makes this uncommon Tramp Art mirror an absolute gem. A metal clamp on the backside makes wall mounting easy.
