Description
This stunning 19th-century French bench, crafted circa 1830, embodies a timeless elegance and impeccable craftsmanship. Constructed from rich walnut wood, it features a rectangular design supported by four intricately turned “Jacob” legs, which are joined by a cross-shaped stretcher for added stability and aesthetic charm. The bench boasts a classic silhouette, seamlessly blending into both traditional and contemporary interiors.
The upholstery has been recently updated, showcasing a high-quality Aquaclean fabric from the renowned publisher Casal, known for its durability and easy maintenance. The upholstery trim remains in excellent condition and is accented with aged gold nails, lending the piece a refined and luxurious finish. The craftsmanship is further highlighted by the Jacob stamp, located on one of the crosspieces, signifying its authenticity and historical significance. -
