Commissioned at great expense by a man who owned a credit card company, these chairs feature substantial, sculptural frames in a rich dark finish, paired with upholstered backs and seats accented by button tufting. The bold, intersecting curves of the base give them a distinctive Art Deco interpretation of the classical curule form, while the heavy construction and quality craftsmanship ensure both durability and presence.
