A pair of side chairs with tall upholstered backs and seats standing on solid walnut bases with turned front legs joined by a high turned stretcher and square section back legs joined to the front by an lower H-shaped turned stretcher, with pinned mortice and tenon joints. In good quality linen upholstery in used serviceable condition, or perfect display vehicles for your favorite fabric. French, circa 1840.
