The petite salon or slipper-form accent chair features an elegant open balloon-back silhouette made from solid, richly grained walnut. The curvilinear frame transitions smoothly into a striking pierced, hand-carved central splat displaying intricate foliate and scrolling Rococo Revival motifs. Below, the generous serpentine-front seat is upholstered in a deep crimson red velvet finished with a coordinating twisted rope trim. The chair is elevated on beautifully shaped, dimensional cabriole front legs adorned with delicate acanthus leaf carving at the knees, ending in original small brass-caster wheels, while the back legs exhibit a clean, stabilizing outswept profile.

Fits perfectly under a bedroom vanity table or as a living room accent.
