Antique 'Os de Mouton' Chair in Solid Wood and Tapisserie 19th Century

This is a very elegant 'Os de Mouton' armchair in solid wood and tapisserie, made in France in the 19th century.

‘Os de Mouton’ translates as ‘sheep bone’ and stands for the distinct shape of the armrests and the legs of these kinds of chairs. A very distinct and elegant design - would be great as a side chair next to a side table or window.

This particular chair is graced by a wonderful antique tapisserie upholstery with great colors. Please also note the large nails.

Comes in a good antique condition with wear on the wooden frame - due to age and use.
