Designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara for Asko, this iconic Crinoline lounge chair dates to the 1960s and is crafted in birch with a black lacquer finish. One of the most celebrated examples of Finnish modern design, the chair features a sweeping spindle back inspired by the silhouette of a crinoline skirt. Bears Label for Asko.

Elegant from every angle, the chair combines sculptural presence with surprising comfort. Its curved rail, tapered legs, and airy construction make it equally suited to daily use or display as a collectible design object.

Condition:
