Description
Very modern and beautiful Bauhaus Sofa / Bench from Germany around 1930.
It has heavy, curved chromed and polished tubular steeltubes at the side, the back as well as the legs.
The bottom is made from high-gloss black lacquered softwood.
The new upholstery fabric is chosen from a collection of JAB Anstoetz (black velvet dots on white ground, Velvet: 100% viscose, Ground: 55% viscose, 30% cotton, 15% polyester).
Besides the four polstered elements in this fabric (seat, back and two armrests), there are furthermore two black velvet cushions included.
The sofa offers great seat comfort. -

Origin: Germany Period: 1920-1949 Materials: Galvanized Steel, Polished Chrome, Lacquered Softwood, Polished Lacquer, Fabric, Velvet. Condition: Good. Excellently restored condition of the sofa. The upholstery fabric shows some wear from the showroom presentation, but is still in good condition.
