Description
Outstanding Art Deco Armoire or Wardrobe in black piano lacquer from France around 1930.
Mahogany body, outside in black piano lacquer, polished to high gloss. Double metal trim on the cornice and single trim on the base. A recessed mirror with facet cut in the center.
Very beautiful, original chrome-plated brass fittings in the center of the doors, finely crafted with male and female motifs with doves.
Interior in mahogany, satin polished. Central door veneered and lacquered inside with satinwood and mahogany as rays. On the left with shelves on adjustable rails. On the right a pull-out metal strip with hooks for coat hangers.
There are two original, chrome-plated bar locks on the inside of the outer doors. The wardrobe can be completely dismantled into 14 individual parts with screws.
