Description
Famous sculptor, Carlo Mo was born in Piovene Rocchette in 1923. He then studies in Genova, and then in Pavia at the Univeristy. After the Second World War he travelled to Africa. In 1953 he comes back to Italy and exposes his works in Milan, Rome and Messina. In Milan he participates at the XV Triennale in 1968, in front of which is still visible his sculpture "Equilibrio". Then his works enter many international museums and private collections, such as the Hirshon Museum in Washington and the Betty Parsons collection. His great interest in graphics and design should not be overlooked in Mo's career. In fact, he worked for companies like Tecno and designed many iconic items.
Here we have a pair of seatings model Chip in carved and curved wood seat and back and lacquered metal support designed by Carlo Mo for Tecno in 1991.
