Italian Wall Mirror by Cristal Arte, Blue Glass Frame, 1960s

$ 5,000
  • Description
    Cristal Art was a Turin-based company active in the furniture industry and particularly in furniture accessories. Founded by Giuseppe and Giovanni Donna in 1944, it had designer Giuseppe Raimondi as its artistic director. The company's leading sector was the production of mirrors and crystal furniture.
    Present at major industry expositions beginning in 1949 (furniture fair, Milan trade fair, Paris and Lyon trade fairs) it soon became among the most successful manufacturers of crystal home accessories along with Fontana Arte of Milan (still in existence).

    A striking Italian wall mirror from the 1960s. Its elegant oval form is framed by deep blue glass elements, creating a sophisticated interplay of color, light, and reflection. A distinctive example of Cristal Art's celebrated craftsmanship and timeless Italian design.
    In very good condition, fully original and ready to be shipped.
