Vintage Painted David Barrett Barrel Back Armchairs, Pair

Offered for sale is a pair of late 1970s white lacquered armchairs designed by David Barrett. Barrett, one of New York’s most in-demand decorators, rose to the top of his field, even serving as president of the American Society of Interior Decorators. The chairs have a whimsical design and retain their vintage fabric. Reupholstering with a creative fabric can achieve a dramatic effect.
