Abstract Watercolor Painting Tomas Sanchez Cuban-American Artist

Offered for sale is a figurative watercolor on paper by Cuban-American artist Tomas Sanchez. Tomás Sánchez was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, on May 22nd, 1948. He completed studies at the San Alejandro Academy of Art and later went on to the Cubanacán School of Art. The artist is multitalented in painting, drawing, engraving, and design. He has had numerous personal exhibitions in Cuba, Spain, Greece, Austria, as well as in other countries. Sánchez was awarded the Joan Miró Prize granted by the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona, Spain, and other major awards both within Cuba and internationally. The artist now lives and works in southern Florida.

The painting is signed in the lower right, framed under glass, wired and ready to hang.
