Description
Ball Chair by Eero Aarnio, Orange and White, Adelta, Finland circa 1980/90s
One of the greatest design classics of all time, the “Ball chair”, designed by Eero Aarnio (born 1932 Helsinki) in 1963 and manufactured by Delta in the 1980/90s.
Hinged seat made of formed, white fiberglas bowl. Round leg made of white, lacquered Aluminium. Original upholstery fabric made of orange Wool-viscose Mix.
Once described by The New York Times as being the “Most comfortable chair”, this space age classic is an eye-catcher in every modern interior or in contrast to traditional interiors. As Adelta did produce the chairs only until the 1990s, these are rare collector items.
