Elias Barup for Gärsnäs Sweden 1930 - "The spanish arm chairs"
These "Spanish" oak and beech armchairs from the 1930s, designed by Elias Barup for the Swedish company Gärsnäs, are a perfect example of craftsmanship that will never go out of fashion. With their beautifully wood and new, high-quality upholstery, they offer the perfect blend of charm and contemporary comfort. Founded in 1897, Gärsnäs gained a reputation for the quality of its Scandinavian furniture. Barup, the company's first in-house designer, played a pivotal role in shaping its legacy from the 1930s through to the 1980s. -
