English Set of Eight Bobbin Turned Dining Chairs

English, late 19th century set of eight (8) armless dining chairs with bobbin-turned frames in ebonized finish and dark leather seats. The resulting design is both timeless and au courant, a tactile and engaging experience between the softness of the turned wood and the aged leather that will appeal to a range of tastes. Dark brown leather wraps the seat and seat backs that have worn to a crackled texture but remain comfortable and supportive. The wood frames have a strong visual presence from the ebonized wood which is surprisingly light to slide in and out easily from the table. The chairs have been gently cleaned and polished to be ready for their next home. We believe these to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
