Description
The European perspective on cabinetmaking is exceptional, and wood is omnipresent in mid-century modernism. This sumptuous curved sofa features the immediately recognizable touches of Modernism: exquisite materials, craftsmanship, and an elegantly curved shape.
Curved sofas in general are considered statement pieces, for reasons that are eminently present in this three-seater sofa: a generous rounded and flowing back and arms, materials of the highest quality, and of course, the craftsmanship of the master cabinetmaker. The design directs the eyes to the voluptuous, fully upholstered body, that is the result of the exquisite craftsmanship and the smart design. In combination with the unadorned styles of mid-century modern design, this sofa brings together the best attributes of the era. The six conical wood legs add an organic feel, balancing out the voluptuous profile. The three pairs of tapered legs assure great structural stability, while also enhancing the width of the sofa visually. Additionally, the front legs feature brass caps that while subtle, add plenty of visual interest.
Free from unnecessary ornamentation, the aesthetic of this three-seater sofa is sleek, elegant, and modern. With its curvy shape, this sofa is perfect to break the rigour of any space, keeping the elegant appearance, which is elevated by the caramel-coloured velour upholstery.
