This thoughtfully designed Modernist Biscuit Tufted 'Relaxed' Sofa in Holly Hunt Upholstery is by Florence Knoll, originating from the United States, Circa 2000. Featuring a chrome frame and supports in minimal rectilinear pillars, the body of the sofa is upholstered in a beautiful muted earth tone of Holly Hunt Upholstery, achieved with a woven framework of threads in black, warm browns, and cream. The sofa has three seat cushions and back supports featuring precise biscuit tufting which adds lovely geometric detailing and provides a subtle rounding of form on this highly geometric and minimal piece. This sofa is a gorgeous example of work of Florence Knoll, known for bringing modernist design sensibilities into the office space and thoughtfully using geometric minimal designs with humanizing materials, form, and colors.
