Description
This mid-century modernist staggered three-arm pendant chandelier, crafted in Italy circa 1970, is a refined example of bold yet sophisticated design from the era. Featuring a unique staggered three-arm structure, it combines pressed crystal and smoked Murano glass to create a luminous and dynamic lighting fixture.
The smoked Murano glass shades introduce depth and a subtle, mysterious elegance with their dark, translucent tones, while the pressed crystal details contribute brilliance and texture that refract light beautifully. The staggered design adds dimension and movement, making the chandelier not just a lighting source but a sculptural centerpiece, perfect for elevating any interior space.
This Italian-made piece epitomizes the mid-century modernist approach to design—balancing functionality and artistic innovation. Its clean lines and geometric arrangement reflect a timeless aesthetic, while the carefully chosen materials highlight the era’s fascination with exploring the interplay of light, shadow, and texture. Stunning chrome frame beautifully balances and highlights the shades.
Ideal for a dining area, living room, or luxury foyer, this chandelier adds a touch of understated glamour and modern sophistication. A testament to Italian craftsmanship and mid-century vision, it is both an illuminating statement piece and a work of art. Newly rewired to American Standards and with height that can be adjusted to suit, this chandelier accommodates Six Edison base bulbs achieving up to 600 watts of light.
