Description
This vintage Dux Recliner and Ottoman exemplifies the Swedish commitment to refined comfort and modern form. Designed during the 1960s for Dux of Sweden, the chair combines ergonomic innovation with elegant simplicity—an embodiment of mid-century Scandinavian design at its most functional.
The seat and ottoman are upholstered in supple original black leather, aged beautifully with a rich, natural patina. A solid teak frame flows into a polished steel swivel base, balancing warmth and precision. The reclining mechanism, operated by discreet side controls, offers smooth adjustability while maintaining the chair’s sculptural integrity.
Every curve and seam reflects Dux’s meticulous engineering—built for lasting comfort without compromise. The pairing of leather, teak, and metal evokes the quiet luxury that defined the Scandinavian modern movement.
