Description
Frans van Praet; Green Velvet dining chairs; Contemporary; Post-Modern; Perforated Metal; Sevilla Chair: Belgian Pavilion; Sevilla World Expo; Belgium;
Green Velvet Dining Chairs by Frans Van Praet, a celebrated artist and interior decorator renowned for his exceptional designs that seamlessly integrate with the spaces he decorates. One of his most notable achievements is the iconic Belgian Pavilion at the Sevilla World EXPO 1992, where Van Praet collaborated with Val St Lambert, masters of crystal glassworks, to create the exquisite Sevilla chair. Inspired by this collaboration, the set of 6 Van Praet chairs featured here is truly one-of-a-kind. Their playful design showcases intersecting geometric shapes, typically seen with a perforated metal back frame. However, this unique set stands out with its lush green velvet upholstery, which beautifully complements the metal legs. The sumptuous green velvet upholstery exudes opulence, while the ergonomic design provides optimal support and posture. With their versatile style and durable construction, these chairs will enhance any dining area, making every occasion special. The chairs are priced per piece and in excellent condition. - More Information
