Elegant Art Deco set of 8 black lacquered chairs by SALT (Société Anonyme Lyonnaise de Tapisserie) was a furniture maker in Lyon, France, the town that gave us Jean Dunand amongst other great names.
S.A.L.T was active during the late 19th and early 20th centuries and was key in the Art Deco movement. The company specialized in high-quality furniture, including commodes and cabinets, and was located at 30 Rue Créqui.
