Description
Handsome 1930s French club chair retaining original hide leather elements and partially reupholstered in an Anatolian Turkish Kilim chenille upholstery whose primary color is bisque (upholstery and seat cushion foam were changed recently - fabric is contemporary, though utilizes a traditional Turkish Kilim pattern).
Perfectly, naturally aged with beautiful patina and wear consistent with age/use (scuffs and leather peeling, as shown).
The chair shows well, void of any structural issues, and has been fully cleaned and conditioned.
Sourced in Rome, Italy where the chair was partially reupholstered in the kilim chenille textile.
