Available today, these Mid-Century Modern armchairs in hardwood & white Suede by Gelli in Brazil are gorgeous!
These super comfortable armchairs are made of hardwood and white suede. The structure is made of Brazilian hardwood and the seat/backrest are made in white suede. This model is called “Canoa” (Canoe) and was inspired by the typical Brazilian canoes used in the tropical rainforest.
The set has been re-upholstered, and the wood refinished. Besides the marks of time, which ultimately give character, the piece in excellent condition. Both armchairs have the manufacture plaque in the front under the seat and are old as set of two.
These Brazilian Modern beauties effortlessly flex into any Mid-Century Modern, modern, Contemporary environment. This piece would also look wonderful in a boho chic, or Hollywood Regency styled home as well.
