Description
A wonderful set of four American black Walnut 'Captain" chairs handcrafted by George Nakashima in his New Hope Studio in 1976. These chairs were designed with creative exposed joints with the backrest extending into the arms. The ergonomic seats render them very comfortable for long time seating. Signed with the last name of the clients underneath.
Accompany these chairs are a copy of the sketch hand drawn by George Nakashima together with other pieces the owner purchased from the studio. Dated 1976. -
