Description
Designed in his later years, Gio Ponti's Gabriella folding chair is a modern interpretation of historical folding chairs that were praised for their mobility and functionality, which was revived and glamorized in the 1960's-1970's design sphere in Europe. These chairs display playfulness with a stylish modern Silhouette and an unexpected proportion with its relative high back support and shallow seating, yet they still manage to achieve comfort as seating.
Made in Mantova, Italy by Walter Ponti, these chairs still retain the original labels.
