Description
Designed by Gio Ponti in 1936 and manufactured by ISA Bergamo in the 1950s, rare set of four exquisite upholstered armchairs or lounge chairs with curved back and gilt metal legs. This elegant model lounge chair has beautiful soft curves throughout including gently rounded back and arms and beautiful splayed legs. These chairs have a nice scale with generous proportions and so are quite comfortable. This midcentury ISA Bergamo seating design is both classical yet modernist and unequivocally timeless.
Fully restored and newly reupholstered in a luxurious Holland & Sherry Brunswick Snow or ivory bouclé with new foam and down cushions. -
