High Back Oak Tavern Bench

    An early 19th century tavern bench in oak with a high sloped back comprising five floating panels in a pegged frame, over a solid two plank seat of full width boards, with shaped armrests to each end and standing on four turned front legs and two straight rear legs rising into continuous back supports, the legs connected with stretchers all around. England, circa 1800. Perfect for an entrance or back hall.
