Description
Perch yourself up on a pedestal like Babe Paley did in this 1960s Italian Hollywood Regency gilded rope and tassel leopard ottoman stool. Famed interior designer to the rich and famous, Billy Baldwin worked with Babe Paley - New York socialite and most favorite swan to the infamous Truman Capote - on her New York condo project and installed this same ottoman. Newly professionally reupholstered in soft leopard velvet with a chic and roomy seat that curves out like scoops of ice cream on a cone. The plush seat is adorned by hand sewn tufts carefully arranged in a diamond pattern. This artful lux upgrade adds movement to the seat cushion and also works exceptionally well at keeping you cool. Never hot and sticky. Leopard piping outlines the curvaceous cushion's form for a more finished look. Original gilt finish glows with just the right amount of patina for an air of old money. Rope in this Italian leopard for an immediate infusion of furniture fashion and glamour into your space. Want to see more beautiful things?
