Description
Iconic Mid-Century Modern Jens Risom lounge chairs expertly reupholstered in soft ivory shearling with professionally refinished walnut frames. An exemplar of Mid-Century Modern design, Risom was one of the first designers to introduce Scandinavian design in the United States. Incredible ergonomic design makes these Jens Risom chairs true "Lounge" chairs. It's all about the angles. You'll be quite surprised how upon sitting, the chair seems to place you in a weight balanced state that relieves lower back and hip pressure. The angled design of the seat back more closely supports the lower back and invites you to lean back to distribute weight evenly. Wide padded seats are roomy and also angled to encourage weight distribution and relieve hip pressure. Angled walnut arms take the weight off the elbows. Our shop was so taken with this design, we sourced a set for our own personal collection. Classic Mid-Century Modern design delivers panache and cozy comfort.
